A pair of beautiful Ivory silk or White satin shoes, specially handmade & embroidered with your little angel’s christening details on the soles. Please see product illustrations for colour choice.

Shoes come in a choice of 4 sizes (see below for details) based on baby’s anticipated foot length – you will need to indicate which size you want by the age range in the ordering process:

Details of foot sizes are as follows:
0-3 months – 9.5cm foot length
3-6 months – 10.5cm
6-12 months – 11.5cm
12-18 months – 12.25cm

Please order no later than 5.30pm on the 5th Friday prior to Christening Date (28 days in advance of a Sunday Christening) in order that the Christening Shoes can be delivered by Royal Mail (to UK addresses) no later than the Thursday prior to the Christening Sunday. Orders placed less than 28 days prior are accepted only at the customer’s risk. Bibs & Shoes are usually sent by Royal Mail 1st Class

Please note due to annual summer holidays 2nd September for 2 weeks orders may take a little longer – so please make sure there is plenty of time for manufacturer and delivery after this date.

Unfortunately the original factory in Holland has had to close it’s doors on production of the Plate & Tile.  With their help we have been able to source another pottery to produce this new Tile.  The Tile is exactly the same as the old original – the  design has been re-drawn so may vary very slightly in places and due to a variation in paints and ovens used the colour may vary slightly to the old original .

All of baby’s birth details are expertly hand-painted in the unique Northern European style by a specially trained painter before glazing and firing.

The tile measures approximately 12.5cm square.

Due to the high demand and lengthy production schedules for this product delivery can sometimes take up to 12 weeks from date of order in peak sales periods but will more often arrive within 6-8 weeks.

Consequently, we are unable to accept orders contingent on a delivery date, but we are sure you will find that the Tile is well worth the wait

Sadly the original factory in Holland has had to close its production of the Delft Blue Plate (& Tile) after over 60 years. However, we have sourced this substitute through another local factory owned by a former employee.

Please be aware that there are a few differences that we have tried to show in the illustrations. It is slightly different in tone & depth of blue; the plate is ‘flatter’ and slightly thicker; the hanger at the back attached differently; and the image has had to be re-originated, so varies very slightly.

However, most importantly, all the same birth details are still expertly hand-painted in a unique Northern European script before glazing and firing in the Delft ceramic style in The Netherlands and despatched directly to you by Airmail.

Please note that the Name, Date & Place of birth are all painted in the same inner ring of the plate. We do not place particularly short character limits on the individual information fields, but we ask you to bear the overall amount of personalisation that you provide in mind when completing your order – please enter information as you would like it shown. In rare cases we may have to edit the information slightly.

The plate measures 16cm in diameter and comes complete with a hanging hook.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the high demand and lengthy production schedule for this product, delivery can sometimes take 12 weeks in peak sales & holiday periods. However, normal delivery time is 8 weeks, so please feel free to contact us if your plate has not been received after 8 weeks. It, of course, will probably take longer in this unique period we find ourselves in – please be patient

As per our terms & conditions we cannot replace goods if delivery outside the EU and the parcel fails to be delivered or items are damaged or missing.  Customers place orders at their own risk.
