I bought one of these mugs for my grand-daughter two years ago. It's been used daily and goes in and out of the dishwasher without showing any signs of wear. Now she has twin brothers of 18 months and they want it too, I have to buy them one each to keep the peace in the household. They are very good quality and excellent value for money.
