You can name your star using a real name, a nickname, phrase or anything of your choice. Then choose the Constellation for your star from the following list:

Naming a star is symbolic rather than scientific, however this novelty gift is produced using real technical data and the name is allocated to an officially listed star number within the Universal Star Listing Register. The computer system does not allow a star to be named more than once in the Universal Star Listing Register and all the information is recorded on a database and subsequently published and lodged with the British Library roughly every 18 months.
